I am so excited to announce another side of Kelsey Anderson Photography! If you notice above my menu bar has changed a tad…. yep you see there is a 4photogs option. Woot woot! That is right I have a new blog and it is for all you photographers and aspiring photographers out there! As you see below I just released my first preset collection Vegas Baby I and I am loving the wonderful response to it! The images you guys are sending me with them being used are fantastic, THANK YOU! So I won’t babble on about the new blog too much. I’ll just say go check it out!

I am super excited to announce the release of my new presets for Lightroom! The first 5 available are my signature Black and White preset, Flamingo, Golden Nugget, Stardust, and Paris! Oh yes named after Vegas hotels woot woot! Vegas baby lol That is actually the name of the first collection. Creative right lol

Here is the image after being cropped and having my black and white preset applied to it in Lightroom. If you don’t have Lightroom you can try a free trial through Adobe! I LOVE Lightroom and highly recommend it!
With my preset I tweak it to taste for each individual image. This preset I have created really works with my shooting style. I then bring my image into CS5 and if needed I bump the contract and I always add texture.
For this image I increased contrast, smoothed under the eyes and brightened/sharpened them a bit. I added a texture as well.

I am totally bummed. My dear friend Trisha is moving to VA. On Tuesday we went out for a farewell dinner with the girls. Had a blast as usual. Always so much fun hanging out with Trisha! We joke that we are twins separated at birth. It is is actually kind of strange all that we have in common. She will be coming back in Feb. for WPPI and taking over a bedroom in our home. CAN NOT WAIT!!
While waiting for our table I busted out my camera and took some pics of the girls and then a few while we were eating. Maxing out my camera’s ISO since we were in the back corner of a very dim lit restaurant.
Hudson LOVES my camera (that statement is full of sarcasm). A few weeks ago I though we may have had a break through with him because he sat down and smiled for me. I was in complete shock but I should’ve known that it was a total fluke! Two bags of fruit snacks (incentives not bribes lol) later this is what I ended up with lol I am going to use one of these for my wall display though so I consider that success I want the images I display in my home of my babies to show them as they are. Hudson is a moody little guy. He is snugly and sweet. However he is also very opinionated and lets you know and everyone else within a 2 mile radius know when he is not pleased
