Before I was a photographer I never understood WHY Custom Photographers charged what they do… or should I say we do ha! I went to a chain portrait studio for family pictures and paid the $7.99 per sheet with no sitting fee since I was a Portrait Club Member. I didn’t realize that what you got from a Custom Photographer was SO MUCH MORE then what one would get from a portrait studio. I didn’t realize the time spent on editing each image, the personalized session time spent with a client, instead of being rushed in and out of a small studio with a line of people waiting their turn. You have to place your order on the spot…. all while you have other people’s kids screaming and crying and feeling rushed along to pick your images, pay and go.

Custom Photographers give you a choice in location, a time of day that works best for your family, and private session that is relaxed and fun for your kids! You get a private gallery you can share with your friends and family for a few days instead of having to pick images on the spot. All of these images are artistically edited to the photographers taste. These images are art! Turning and image to a standard black and white or sepia tone is about as far as a portrait studio goes.
